Cancellation and Returns

Damaged or Missing Items
Upon delivery, please carefully inspect your goods to ensure that the packaging is intact and all items are in good condition before signing for them. We recommend checking for any visible tears, indents, or crumpled areas in the packaging, which may indicate potential damage. Any damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by emailing us at Hello@thesofahaus.co.uk.

Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing it. Please note that a 30% administrative fee will apply for all cancellations within this time frame.

Cooling-Off Period
Should you change your mind about your purchase, you have a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel your order. To cancel, we require written communication from you within this timeframe. You may reach out via email at Hello@thesofahaus.co.uk or by letter.

Returns for Custom-Sized Items
Please be aware that custom-sized items, including custom headboards, footboards, or side rails, are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Returns Policy
To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unused
  • In their original packaging (with tags)
  • In a resalable condition
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Additionally, any free items received with the product must also be returned. For quality control and repackaging, we only accept returns for items that remain in their original packaging and are in resalable condition. Unfortunately, items that have been used or assembled cannot be accepted.

If returning a product because you chose the incorrect size or any reason unrelated to a product fault, there will be a £175 charge to cover the administrative, onward delivery, and refund processing costs.

Fabric and Colour Samples
If you are unsure of the fabric colour or material, we highly recommend ordering our FREE Fabric Samples before making a purchase. Returns based on dissatisfaction with colour or material will not be accepted once the product has been delivered.

Return Costs and Re-delivery Fees
The product may be returned at the customer's own expense within 14 days. If an order is cancelled before dispatch, a 30% administrative fee will apply to cover the costs. In the event of failed delivery due to access issues or other unforeseen circumstances, re-delivery can be scheduled at your request for £50.00.
